WELCOME TO ROOT TO RISE

Root to Rise aims to bring our love for thoughtful movement and choreography into our vinyasa and prenatal yoga classes. Together, we will move in ways that fit your body and mind.

We believe in the depth of yoga in all aspects of the asanas, breath and it’s ancient history. Yoga, or Unity, is an essence we strive to embody through both the physical and spiritual practice. It is through grounding in consistent practice and connection with true selves, that we can better serve our community and the world around us.

A note from the Founder, Christina Esser (RYT-200 & Prenatal)

I’m thrilled to have you here. Though I grew up around wellness, I pursued a degree in Architecture and work as a full time professional in the design and construction industry. Connecting with my community has always been at the forefront of my work and passion for yoga.

My passion for yoga grew from my love for dance and the performing arts. Movement has had a profound impact on my life as a form of self expression and a source of creativity and is a large part of my own healing.

I received my 200-Hour certification from Yogamaya (NYC) in 2020, and my Prenatal Yoga Certification from Prenatal Yoga Center (NYC) in 2022.
